Ken Rosenberg Bio

Ken Rosenberg developed this website to showcase his illustration work. Today it stands as a testimony to his talent.

Ken loved to paint. He was an artist from his earliest childhood memories. At age four, he was using professional drafting equipment supplied by his father, an employee of Keuffel & Esser.

After graduating from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration, he worked as a technical illustrator for the aerospace industry; where he produced drawings for the military and the Colombia space shuttle. After 1983, Ken worked as a commercial freelance illustrator and for two major illustration studios. He worked on a variety of projects including book covers, trade and consumer ads, point of purchase displays, product packaging, magazine covers and billboards. He started his career in traditional media, and then worked digitally using Photoshop in a wide range of styles from realism and stylized realism to licensed characters and photo retouching.

In his spare time Ken collected vintage rock and roll albums and played guitar with friends who are professional Los Angeles based blues musicians. He also could be found in the pits with his friends Team Craig Racing who run a fuel dragster.

His clients included: Anheuser-Bush, Ballentine Books, Bacardi, Captian Morgan, Coors, Del Monte, Dole, Disney, Harper Collins Books, Hillshire Farms, Hilton Hotels, Kraft Foods, Mattel, Meyers Rum, Miller Brewing Company, Nabisco, Nestlé, Oscar Meyer, Seagrams, Sea World, St. Martins Press, US Sprint, United Airlines.
